1940’s, Crepe Day Dress, lavender, lace bodice, handmade, size 12- 14. It does measure, according to our general size chart, to be a size 16, however, we are allowing for shrinkage. That being said, we have just freshly washed her, so the initial shrinkage that occurs with crepe when you first wash it has already occurred with us. To keep the dress in perfect condition from now on though, we recommend dry cleaning.

The shoulders have ever so slightly faded, but it is barely noticeable, so for this reason she is priced lower than usual for a dress from the 40’s. The original belt is missing.

The Bust is fully lined and in a flat lay, measures 110cm, the waist is 44cm, the hips are 110cm and the length is 99cm.

Pop a half slip under the skirt, as we have done in this photo shoot, it will help the gorgeous fabric to glide comfortably but is still lovely without one.
