1960’s, Dress & Coat, Princess Line, Watermelon Pink, Rayon, by ‘Margeaux Couture’, Melbourne Victoria. It has an raw silk look, so lovely.

This original beauty is in excellent condition for a vintage item from this era, no stains. We washed it by hand in cold water with liquid detergent, which cleans the fibers up wonderfully so no moth ball smell is present. Unfortunately whist doing  this process, the outer layer shrink a tad. Lots of photos included to show you. Are you a handy sewer, because it just needs some minor hemming to make it perfect. We didn’t do it because if you need it too be longer, there wouldn’t be any point, so for this reason it is reduced.  Both coat and dress are fully lined.

Coat is 102cm in the bust, under bust is 100cm, waist is 104cm, hips are 60cm and length is 85cm, there is room in the hem to let it down if needed, about 2″.

The dress is 96cm in the bust, 82cm under the bust, 92cm in the waist, hips are 104cm and length is 88cm, also around 2″ in the hem to let down.
