1960’s Princess Line Gown & Jacket, Pale Blue, Handmade, crepe, size 8
This ensemble has the ‘Bridgerton’ Vibes! The Character ‘Daphne’, appears to favour this delicate blue colour.
Being crepe, it is renowned for shrinking when first washed, and that is just what happened when I did it, well only in the jacket, the outer crepe shrunk, it will be advised to dry clean from now on. So, for this reason, and that there are a few patches in the lining with tiny holes, I have reduced the price. The jacket can be fixed, it simply needs the stitching at the hem to be re-sewn.
It is quite difficult to show in a photo, but the fabric has a lovely shimmer to it, much like lurex.
In a flat lay, the bust of the dress is 86cm, around the princess line it is 78cm, the waist is 85cm, the hips are 96cm and the length is 135cm.
