Description
Childs, 1940’s, Satin Gown, Apricot, handmade, size 8-10
What a stunning gown for a child to wear, it must have been made for a bridesmaid or flower girl, which it can be again now.
Freshly laundered and in excellent condition except for a couple of minor drop size marks, on the back and a couple on the skirt. It has 2 very tiny mends in the skirt as well, but none of these flaws distract from its cuteness. It has an attached gauze and tule petticoat.
In a flat lay, the bust is 72cm, the waist is 58cm and the length is 111cm.
The bow can be detached, but underneath it is an other tiny mend, so it would be good to place a broach or flower there if you didn’t want to use the satin bow.
