Description
Safari Pocket Jacket, 1970’s, Polyester/cotton, Cinnamon, by ‘Lord Jim’, size M
Great jacket, but unfortunately when I washed it, big mistake, I should have had it dry cleaned, but it shrank!
Well, the lining that is, because it’s satin. Besides this dilemma, the jacket is in very good condition, with just one small repair under one sleeve on the inside and a replacement button at the front. So because of these reasons, it has been heavily reduced. It looks ok when you tuck your arms in your pants pocket, see photos, but it does need to be fixed. Simple enough for a tailor, or if you’re clever! Both the sleeves and hem of the jacket need this alteration.
In flat lay the chest is 42″. the waist is 38″, the hips are 41″, the length is 31″ and the shoulder span is 17″
To give this groovy jacket more of a ’70s vibe with have shown it in the gallery with the orange shirt, ’70s tie and checked pants, none of these are included.
